New Signal Strength Data (H2 2023)

We are excited to share the latest batch of FCC signal strength data is now live and browsable on the CoverageMap Signal Strength Map.

The FCC launched the Broadband Data Collection program, which mandates each cellular carrier provide the FCC with an updated map of their signal strength every six months.

The latest dataset contains coverage data for each cellular network as of December 31, 2023.

Check out the new signal strength maps now on the website, the iPhone app, or the Android app.

Below you can find a quick summary of the signal strength changes from June 30, 2023 to December 31, 2023.

AT&T Coverage Changes

  • AT&T's total coverage area increased by 1.46%
  • We are unable to state what happened to AT&T's 5G coverage area because the FCC data was bad

T-Mobile Coverage Changes

  • T-Mobile's total coverage area increased by 2.35%
  • T-Mobile's 5G coverage area increased by 1.66%

Verizon Coverage Changes

  • Verizon's total coverage area remained the same
  • Verizon's 5G coverage area increased by 0.70%

Dish Coverage Changes

  • Dish's total coverage area increased by 0.98%

UScellular Coverage Changes

  • UScellular's total coverage area remained the same
  • UScellular's 5G coverage area increased by 0.88%
